Health & Wellness Fair to Celebrate 30 Years of WIC
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Broome County Health Department’s Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program will host a health and wellness fair in celebration of its 30th anniversary on Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the health department’s parking lot.
There will be crafts, interactive games and activities for young children, giveaways, tasty nutritious treats, as well as information for families with young children. The Just Say Yes to Fruits and Veggies Van will provide nutrition education and food demonstrations. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be present to provide free child safety seat inspections.
