Finch Hollow Nature Center Announces Upcoming Programs

Finch Hollow Nature Center has announced upcoming family programs for March. "Be a Chef for the Birds" and "Worms!" Please contact the Finch Hollow Nature Center directly at (607) 729-4231 for more information and to make reservations.
“Be a Chef for the Birds”
A hands-on birdfeeding workshop will be held at Finch Hollow Nature Center, Johnson City, on Friday, March 19, 2010, from 10:30 AM until noon. This family program will use peanut butter, suet, cornmeal, and more as participants mix up recipes to help the birds survive winter. Families with children aged 3 and up are invited to participate. Admission is free, but reservations are required.

Learn About Worms!
Finch Hollow Nature Center, Johnson City, will present “Worms!” for children ages 3 through 5 on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 10:00 AM–11:30 AM. Children, accompanied by an adult, will learn about worms and how they help plants to grow, and will make a craft to take home. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
